ABOUT
OTHER FUN THINGS
AT
NAPILI POINT A21 ...
Beautiful
Honokeana Cove, a stones throw from
the front door of your condominium vacation suite, is one of Maui's best
snorkeling spots. The colorful living coral at the bottom of the cove
with its equally colorful inhabitants of tropical fish, eels, rays,
octopus and of course the giant sea turtles
that made this cove their very own, make snorkeling in this paradise a
wonderful experience.
It is
unbelievably exciting to swim up to one of the giant turtles. They are not
afraid of people, so usually they just stare back at you. The turtles are an
endangered specie. You must not touch them. We don't want them to leave our
Cove.

The photos of turtles featured on this web site were taken at our cove
with an inexpensive underwater camera purchased from Napili Market.
Spectacular Napili Bay Beach, (mentioned
in a past issue of Sunset Magazine as one of the best beaches in the world) is
located just around
the point. The beach is easily reached with a short walk,
150 to 200 yards, along an ocean front trail. We suggest
that you wear shoes (no high heels)
or thongs (the ones you wear on your feet) because of the rocks and hot sand. Once there, the white coral sand make for a perfect place to just sit, lay, relax, even sleep. The surf is good for body boarding all year round
and when the waves are up, makes for great surfing. |

Tennis and golf can be played at nearby famous Kapalua Resort.
On the north side of the island you can watch world class
wind surfing -- or
give it a try. Last but not least, let's not forget
about the Shopping. There are
regular shopping malls, however you must visit and shop at the old,
historical and picturesque whaling town of Lahaina. This town is wall to
wall merchandise shops of all kinds, restaurants, dive shops, charter
boat rides, art galleries, souvenirs – name it, it's here. |
Old Lahaina Town was once a whalers' village.
The
whalers are gone,
but the whales are still here!

There are several other
activities too numerous to list
but if you like hiking, wind surfing,
biking down a volcano,
or helicopter tours, it is all here for you to
enjoy Maui! |
